Rental period and inventory

The rental period, equipment, quantities, accessories, price, VAT, transport and any deposit are stated in the quote or confirmation. Only that confirmed list is reserved.

Collection, delivery and return

Collection, delivery, setup and return are agreed in advance. Equipment must be returned complete, clean, dry and on time. Late return can affect following reservations and may be treated as additional work or damage.

Use

The renter uses equipment carefully and in line with normal technical instructions. Equipment may not be used outdoors, in rain, moisture, dust, extreme heat or unsafe power conditions without NØRD's approval. Specialist equipment, rigging, FX or laser use requires separate agreement.

Damage, loss and theft

Damage, loss or theft must be reported immediately. Costs are assessed proportionally based on repair, parts, labour, loss in value or necessary replacement. NØRD does not automatically charge full new replacement cost where repair or reasonable valuation is more appropriate.

Identity and deposit

If identification or a deposit is needed, that is stated before confirmation or at the latest before handover. NØRD does not store full ID copies by default and processes only the data needed for verification and administration.

Cancellation

Cancellation of AV rental follows the arrangements in the quote or confirmation. Consumer statutory rights remain unaffected where they apply.
