NØRD EVENTS Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Order of documents

The quote or agreement takes priority over service-specific terms. Service-specific terms take priority over these general terms. If a point is not covered in the quote or service terms, these general terms apply.

Enquiry, quote and agreement

An enquiry through the website is not a booking. NØRD reviews the enquiry personally and, where suitable, sends a proposal or quote. An agreement exists only after the customer accepts the quote or confirmation through the method provided by NØRD.

Prices and payment

Prices, VAT, transport, deposit, additional work and payment moments are stated in the quote or confirmation. Consumer prices include applicable VAT where NØRD sells directly to consumers. Business prices may be shown excluding VAT where that is clearly stated.

Customer obligations

The customer provides accurate information about date, location, times, access, power, loading, venue rules, permits, noise limits and on-site contacts. Additional costs or limitations caused by incorrect or late information may be treated as additional work.

Changes

Changes to date, location, times, package, equipment or staffing are final only after written confirmation from NØRD. If a change affects price, availability, transport or planning, NØRD states that before confirmation.

Cancellation and withdrawal

Contractual cancellation and statutory withdrawal are separate subjects. Event services often have a fixed date and may fall under specific exceptions. NØRD states the applicable cancellation or withdrawal information before quote acceptance where it is relevant to the agreement. Percentages or terms apply only where they are stated in the quote or service terms.

Damage and liability

The customer is responsible for damage caused by incorrect use, guests, venue conditions or failure to follow instructions. Damage is assessed proportionally based on repair, parts, labour, loss in value or necessary replacement. NØRD is not liable for indirect loss, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

Force majeure

If delivery becomes reasonably impossible due to circumstances outside the parties' control, the parties first look for a practical solution. This may be adjusted delivery, another date or a replacement option. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

Complaints

Complaints can be sent to info@nordevents.nl. State what happened, the date and the event concerned. NØRD responds substantively after the situation has been reviewed.

Law

Agreements with NØRD EVENTS are governed by Dutch law unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
